About These Terms
The services and sale of products are owned and operated by Céphéide Joaillerie, a sole proprietorship (micro-entreprise) owned by Marques Léa. These Terms of Sale set out the terms and conditions governing purchases from us. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing any products.

In these Terms, you will find information about who we are, how we sell our products, how you can cancel a purchase contract, and what you can do if something goes wrong. You declare that you are of legal age and have the legal authority, right, and power to enter into a binding agreement based on these Terms. If you are a minor, you may only purchase products with the consent of your parent or legal guardian.

Céphéide Joaillerie is registered with the Chambre des Métiers et de l’Artisanat of Essonne, France.

You can contact us by email at cepheide.joaillerie@outlook.fr.

Language of the Contract
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are written in French. In the event of translation into one or more foreign languages, only the French text shall prevail in case of a dispute.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are subject to French law. If you are not satisfied with the product delivered, you should first contact us to seek an amicable solution. If no agreement is reached, any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation, performance, termination, consequences, or results of these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with French common law.

Purchasing Products
All purchases are subject to the Terms applicable at the time of purchase. Before committing to buy, it is your responsibility to read the full product description. Placing an order and completing payment creates a legally binding contract.

We reserve the right to change our prices or correct any pricing errors at any time. Such changes do not affect the price of products already purchased. Delivery timeframes start from the date we receive payment in full. By accepting our quotation, you place a firm order for the products listed at the stated price plus any applicable shipping fees. The binding sales contract is formed upon receipt of your payment. We reserve the right to refuse any order.

From time to time, we may offer discount codes, gift cards, or promotions. These offers are valid only for the stated period and cannot be transferred, modified, sold, exchanged, reproduced, or distributed without our written consent.

Product Delivery
All our jewellery is handmade and may involve multiple stages of craftsmanship. As such, each order may require up to one month of production (longer for custom orders) before shipment. Delivery times and costs vary depending on the product type, shipping address, and delivery method chosen, and will be provided before you confirm your order.

Delivery Information
Standard delivery time is around three weeks (business days). However, it may vary depending on the carrier or destination. Delivery charges vary by country and shipping method. Customs duties may apply depending on your location; these are charged by the carrier and are outside our control.

Shipping Timeframes
Since our products are made to order and we do not hold stock, production may take up to one month before dispatch. In most cases, your order will ship within 2–3 weeks.

Withdrawal and Returns
Upon delivery, you must check the product in the presence of the courier. If the product is damaged, you must refuse the parcel and note it as defective. Otherwise, it may be impossible to prove damage occurred during delivery.

Ring resizing is possible. If the incorrect size results from your own measurement error, the resizing will be at your expense. Please ensure you have your size professionally measured before ordering. All return shipping costs are your responsibility. Items in vermeil are non-exchangeable.

Please note: the size guide on our website is for reference only and does not constitute a professional measurement. We recommend having your ring size taken by a jeweller before purchase.

If the size error is due to our workshop, we will cover all resizing and shipping costs.

All returns must be in their original condition and complete. You remain responsible for the item during return shipping. Any damage during return transit may void the return. Once you take physical possession of the product, the risk of loss or damage passes to you.

Custom-made jewellery cannot be resold and is therefore exempt from the right of withdrawal. You have three days after placing the order to cancel before production begins.

We are not responsible for delivery delays due to the recipient’s unavailability, nor for loss of the parcel by the carrier. In such cases, please contact the carrier directly, although we will assist you where possible.

Refund and Return Policy for Custom Orders
For jewellery made to your specifications, the legal right of withdrawal does not apply (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). You have three days after placing your order to cancel. Once production begins, no cancellations or refunds are possible.

Refund and Return Policy for Non-Custom Products
For products sold without customisation, you have 14 business days from the delivery date to return the product and request an exchange or refund, excluding return shipping costs (Article L221-18 et seq., French Consumer Code).

Returned products must be unworn, in their original packaging, and in perfect condition. Incomplete or damaged items will not be refunded. Returns must be shipped with tracking and within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

For orders outside mainland France, all return and exchange shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. For non-EU countries, customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees are also the customer’s responsibility.

Product Warranty
Our jewellery is covered by a 2-year commercial warranty in addition to any applicable legal warranties. This warranty does not cover: improper use, accidental or intentional damage, commercial use, abnormal wear and tear, lack of maintenance or hygiene, or unauthorised repairs.

Personal Data Processing
Personal information provided by customers is necessary to process orders and issue invoices. Data may be shared with partners involved in executing and managing orders and payments. Customers have the right to access, modify, or delete their personal data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property
All content on our website and related services — including text, images, designs, software, videos, music, and trademarks — is our property or licensed to us. No intellectual property rights are granted to you under these Terms.

Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfil our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure as defined in French Civil Code Article 1216.

Modification of Terms or Services
We may update these Terms at any time. If substantial changes are made, we will notify you. We may also modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue services without liability, where reasonably necessary.

Miscellaneous
Headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

For any withdrawal form or request, please contact us at cepheide.joaillerie@outlook.fr.

By purchasing from us, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Sale.
